Genesis Stained glass is run by Jayne Ford, a glass artist specialising in glass
painting, staining and enamelling. Jayne carries out all of the design, painting
and restoration work herself. Help with construction and installation on larger
projects is provided by freelance glaziers and joiners. She personally oversees all
Jayne undertook formal training in glass painting and restoration at Pugin, Hardman and Powell Studio in Birmingham, funded by a Worshipful Company of Glaziers training award in 2010.

In 2014 she won first prize in the Stevens Architectural Glass Competition for a contemporary window design for Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and also the 2014 Prize for Craftsmanship.
She is a member of the British Society of Master Glass Painters (BMSGP) and the Contemporary Glass Society (CGS). As well as undertaking commissions and restoration work, she also exhibits glass at art fairs, galleries and outdoor sculpture events.
